User Details
These are the high-level details for a User.
Details
First name, Last name (required)
Name of the User.
Initials
A two to four letter representation of the User's name. Initials are required for QuickBooks syncing of employees and sales reps. If this User is already represented in QuickBooks, the initials must match exactly as they are in QuickBooks
Username / Email (required)
The email for the User. This is also the Username the User will use to sign into Contractors Cloud.
Memo (optional)
Add any optional comments pertaining to the User.
Start Date (required)
The employment start date for the User.
Termination Date
If this User is no longer part of your organization, set the Termination date. This will automatically make the User inactive and they will no longer have access to Contractors Cloud.
Status (required)
The Active/Inactive status for the User. A User can only sign into Contractors Cloud if they are Active.
Connect
Mailing address, City, State, Zip (optional)
This is the mailing address for the User.
Cell phone (optional)
The mobile cell number for the User. Required for text-messaging.
Home phone (optional)
The home phone for the User, but can be used as an auxiliary phone number.
Work phone & Extension (optional)
The work phone for the User, but can be used as an auxiliary phone number.
Time zone (optional)
This is the time zone the User will primarily do work in. Adding a time zone can assist in Calendaring and Appointments.
Employment
Default Company (required)
This is the default Company for the User. Upon sign in, all filters and company level settings will default to this Company.
User level (required)
Pick the user level that best fits the User's scope of work.
Title (required)
The business title for the User (Owner, Sales Representative, Admin, Production Manager, etc).
Employment type (optional)
Is the User an employee or vendor. This assists in various functions such as Bills and QuickBooks integration.
Tax ID / Reg # (optional)
An optional spot for a Tax ID, registration number, or any other auxiliary data point you wish to record.
Auto insurance expiration date (optional)
A place to add an auto insurance expiration date if the User is responsible for company vehicles.
Personalization
Default homepage (required)
Upon sign in, this page will be the first page loaded. This only applies to our new version.
Project homepage (optional)
Upon opening a Project, this will be the first project page loaded.
User color (optional)
This is a color assigned to the User which assists in delineating Users within Calendars and Reports.
Theme (optional)
A theme that changes the backgrounds of Contractors Cloud. Currently under construction.
User Avatar (optional)
This is the profile picture of the User used through Contractors Cloud and notifications. It's a good idea to keep these classy.
