Polygon Overview

Map Polygons are a geographical boundary used to filter out a segment of results by latitude and longitude coordinates. Polygon functionality is found in most Contractors Cloud maps.

Since a polygon is a geographical boundary, results are not static. Meaning, over time results may change as entities are created or deleted.

Creating a Polygon

To create a Polygon, click Create Polygon in the upper-right corner.

Enter a name, description (optional), and pick a desired color. Then use your mouse to click and draw the desired polygon. Polygon vertices can be moved by a simple drag and drop.

Using a Polygon

Within the filter of any view (Board, List, Map, etc), locate the Polygon filter option. This will filter the view to include only the results that geographically fit within the Polygon.
