CompanyCam
CompanyCam allows you to take photos, track progress, and collaborate on tasks with job site management tools and AI shortcuts for every phase of any project.
How to Connect
First, sign into your CompanyCam account, and navigate to Access Tokens.
Next, create a token for ContractorsCloud.
Leave this unchecked in order for data to flow to and from.
Within Company Settings, CompanyCam (permission required), paste the CompanyCam Access Token into and click Save Access Token. Multiple Contractors Cloud Companies can be connected to a single CompanyCam account if desired.
Click this if you wish Contractors Cloud to automatically create a CompanyCam project whenever a new project is created in Contractors Cloud.
How to Use
Navigate to Project Photos.
Click on the CompanyCam tab. Here you will see any real-time photos within this CompanyCam Project. When data is entered into CompanyCam, it could take up to a minute or two before it is reflected within Contractors Cloud.
Note: Contractors Cloud does not store CompanyCam photos unless they are used in an Album.
Click the gear settings to connect this CompanyCam project to a different Contractor Cloud project.
Click the link icon to open the CompanyCam Project.
Photo Storage
Contractors Cloud Stratus no longer automatically stores CompanyCam photos on our servers as Classic did. Therefore, you should treat the photos within CompanyCam as a source of truth.
However, Contractors Cloud will store a reference link if a CompanyCam image is used in a Photo Album.
Workflows
Workflow Conditions that pertain to CompanyCam are:
- Project contains uploaded photos or a connected 3rd-Party app has photos
- Related CompanyCam Project has photos
