Milestone Actions

These are actions that occur as soon as this Milestone becomes active. Actions include Tasks, Emails, and Text Messages.

Milestone Start Actions allow Tasks, Emails, and Text Messages where Milestone End Actions only allow Emails and Text Messages.

Milestone Tasks

These are Tasks that are automatically created when the Project Milestone becomes active.

Task name (required)

This is the name of the task, or task subject.

Workflow or Pass Through Task

• Workflow - A Task is a task that needs to be closed in order for the Milestone to be completed and to more the Workflow forward.
• Pass Through - Do Not Hold Up Workflow - A Task that gets created, but has no bearing on the Workflow operation.
• Pass Through - Auto Close on Milestone Completion - A Task that gets created, but has no bearing on the Workflow operation, but automatically closes when the Milestone completes.

Task Sender

This is a Company Role from the Workflow Team in which the Task will be from.

Task Recipient

This is a Company Role from the Workflow Team in which the Task will be created for. The User that holds this role within the Project Team will be assigned the Task.

Send Notification Email When Created

This setting will automatically send the Task Recipient a Task email notification when the Task is created.

Task Body

This is the body of that task. It should let the Task Recipient know what needs to be done.

Milestone Email

These are the Emails that are automatically sent when the Project Milestone becomes active or completes.

Email Template

If there are custom Email Templates created within Company Settings, any active Email Template can be assigned to the Milestone Email.

If an Email Template is picked, all criteria within the Email Template will be used to create the email when the Milestone becomes active.

Email Sender

This is a Company Role from the Workflow Team will be the Email Sender.

Email Recipient

This is a Company Role from the Workflow Team, or the First Listed Customer Account Contact, or the First Listed Project Contact will be the Email Recipient.

Email Subject (required)

This is the subject of email.

Email Body

This is the body of email.

Milestone Text Messages

These are the Text Messages that are automatically sent when the Project Milestone becomes active or completes.

Text Message Name (required)

This is the name of the text message.

Text Sender

This is a Company Role from the Workflow Team will be the Text Message Sender.

Text Recipient

This is a Company Role from the Workflow Team, or the First Listed Customer Account Contact, or the First Listed Project Contact, or All Project Contacts will be the Text Message Recipient(s).

Body (required)

This is the body of text message.
