Estimate Custom Fields
If applicable, Trade Custom Fields allow you to create custom data points that can be manually entered or entered automatically via a 3rd-party integration.

Trade Custom Fields can be used for anything, but are primarily used for gathering and storing measurement data. Those measurements can be converted to Estimate Item quantities through the use of Material Conversions. Material Conversions are owned by a Material are managed in Settings, Materials (permission required).
Trade Custom Fields are created by trade and are managed in Settings, Trades (permission required). Once you have custom fields created, you need to map them to your materials. Go to your Materials Manager, pick a material, and click the Trades & Data Mapping tab. Not only is this where you associate a material with a trade, but also map the default quantity to a custom field. Once a custom fields is mapped to a material, the custom field value should now be the default estimate quantity for the material item when picked or imported via a list.
Third-Party Reports
Any third-party reports for the Project will be listed here. Click a report to view the raw measurement data. Click Import Data to import the report data into the Estimate Custom fields.

Estimate Comments
Estimate Comments allow a User to attach additional messages to the Estimate.

Estimate comments can be hidden from printing or can be imported into Work and Material Orders through the use of Order Pre-Builds.
Time saving default comments can be created in Company Settings, Estimate Customization (permission required). These default comments can be imported into an Estimate Comment.
Estimate Summary
This is a financial summary of the Estimate

SubTotal Function
The Sub total line determines how the total of the estimate lines are calculated.
SubTotal - Auto - Calculates the sub total based off of the quantity and cost/price of the estimate item. It should be the same as the Price(P) column.
SubTotal - Manual - With this option, you can manually enter a sub total amount.
Print Settings
Whether the sub total prints on the print out is managed by toggling the printer icon. This can also be managed in the Print dialog when an Estimate is printed.

Set item costs menu option

When set to Sub total - Manual, Set item costs allows the User to "back-in" Estimate Item material costs from the amount set for the sub total. Therefore, the sum of your estimate items should add up to the amount set for the sub total.
Profit Margin
This shows the total profit margin of all estimate items. The Profit Margin summary is only available in Sub total - Auto mode and Profit Margin functions are enabled for the estimate ( see Estimate Details).

Estimate Financial Items
Financial Items are line items added to the sub-total area and add to the grand total.
Most commonly used Financial items can be set up within the Company Settings, Estimate Customization (permission required).
Estimated Expenses
Here you can enter in a total for your estimated expenses to calculate an estimated profit margin. You can either enter it manually or have it be automatic if your are in Assembly Mode.
